From draft to listing in 12 minutes

A real workflow combining Wordflow AI and QuickAIConvert for online sellers and marketplaces.

If you sell online, Etsy, eBay, Vinted, Depop, Amazon, Shopify, your own site, listings are the work. The photo gets the click; the listing gets the sale. And listings are where most sellers lose hours every week to copy-paste and reformatting.

Here's the workflow we walk new sellers through. It takes about twelve minutes per product once you've done it twice, and it scales to a hundred listings without losing your voice.

Minute 0–2: capture the raw facts

Open a single notes file and dump everything you know about the item: dimensions, materials, condition, story, who it's for, what makes it different. Don't write sentences. Bullet points, fragments, even abbreviations. You're feeding the next step.

Minute 2–5: draft the long form once

Paste the bullets into Wordflow AI with a prompt like: "Turn these notes into a 180-word product description for an Etsy buyer who values craft and detail. Friendly, specific, no clichés." One draft. Don't fiddle yet, just get the long form down.

Minute 5–8: extract the variants

From that one long-form draft, pull out the variants every marketplace needs:

  • A 60-character title with the main keyword first
  • A 160-character meta-style summary
  • Five tags or keywords
  • A short bullet list of features
  • A one-sentence "why you'll love it" closer

Ask for them all in one prompt. You're not generating new content, you're reshaping the content you already have.

Minute 8–10: price it for every market

This is where QuickAIConvert earns its keep. Type "£24 + 20% VAT", "£24 to USD", or "450g in oz" and you've got the answer before you've finished the sentence. Perfect when you're listing across currencies, working out shipping weights, or adding VAT for UK buyers, no calculator, no tab-hopping.

Minute 10–12: the human pass

Read it out loud. Fix the one sentence that sounds like AI. Add one detail only you would know, the tiny imperfection, the maker's note, the day you found the fabric. That single human line is what stops your listings looking like everyone else's.

What this unlocks

Twelve minutes a listing means you can put up five products in an hour without burning out. More importantly, your listings stay consistent in voice, which is what builds a recognisable shop.

Two rules to keep

  1. Never let the AI write the first line of the description. Write that yourself, it's the part buyers actually read.
  2. Keep a swipe file of your best ten listings. Paste them in as examples for future products. Your shop's voice gets stronger every month.

The tools shave the minutes. The discipline keeps the voice. Both matter.
